Limited Warranty Statement

1. General Provisions Trazzo Iluminación S.A.C., Home Design S.A.C., and TLS Lighting LLC (hereinafter, “Trazzo”), in its capacity as an importer and/or distributor of products, guarantees the products it sells under the terms and conditions set forth in this document. The warranty provided by Trazzo is based on the warranty granted by the manufacturer, supplier, or brand of origin (hereinafter, “Manufacturer/Supplier/Brand”), which may vary depending on the type of product or manufacturer.

It is important to clarify that the Manufacturer/Supplier/Brand warranty begins from the moment the products are delivered in the country of origin. Therefore, Trazzo cannot assume or extend the Manufacturer/Supplier/Brand warranty as its own.

The warranties are classified into two types:

  • Warranty Granted by Trazzo (hereinafter, “Trazzo Warranty”): Applicable to products sold by Trazzo and subject to the terms established in this document.
  • Manufacturer/Supplier/Brand Warranty (hereinafter, “Transferred Warranty”): A warranty provided directly by the Manufacturer/Supplier/Brand, in which Trazzo may act as an intermediary without assuming additional responsibility.

2. Trazzo Warranty Trazzo grants a one (1) year warranty on products sold, for defects in manufacturing. This warranty is independent and not cumulative with the Manufacturer/Supplier/Brand warranty.

The Trazzo Warranty period begins on the date of product delivery to the customer, as evidenced by the Delivery Note or Invoice. If the product is purchased at a Trazzo retail location, the date on the sales receipt will serve as the warranty start date.

Trazzo may provide information regarding the Manufacturer/Supplier/Brand warranty period for each product to ensure the best possible coverage for the customer. However, if the Manufacturer/Supplier/Brand warranty has expired, only the one (1) year Trazzo Warranty will apply.

Under no circumstances may the customer require Trazzo to replace products that are out of warranty under Manufacturer/Supplier/Brand terms, nor demand new product imports at previously quoted prices.

3. Transferred Warranty The Manufacturer/Supplier/Brand independently determines the terms and conditions of their warranties, which may be detailed in warranty certificates, physical documents, or their digital platforms.

The warranty process may occur in two ways:

  • Directly between the customer and the Manufacturer/Supplier/Brand.
  • Through Trazzo as an intermediary, who will manage the warranty according to the Manufacturer/Supplier/Brand’s instructions, either by replacing the product, issuing a refund, or sending the defective product to the supplier.

In case of a refund, it will be processed as follows:

  • Issuance of a non-negotiable check in the name of the Invoice or Sales Receipt holder.
  • Reversal of the amount paid to the credit card used for the purchase (estimated processing time: fifteen (15) business days, subject to the issuing bank’s internal procedures).

4. Special Considerations The warranty may not apply if it is determined that the environment where the product was used has accelerated its deterioration beyond normal usage conditions. Factors such as high humidity, salinity, or dust may affect the product’s durability, in which case neither Trazzo nor the Manufacturer/Supplier/Brand will be responsible for premature deterioration.

5. Warranty Execution Process The warranty application will depend on the following circumstances:

  • Products Sold Without Installation: The customer must bring the defective product to Trazzo’s facilities for evaluation. If a third party installed the product, Trazzo assumes no responsibility for damages caused by improper installation.
  • Products Sold and Installed by Trazzo Within the Miami Metropolitan Area: A Trazzo technician will visit the customer’s location to evaluate the defective product and determine the appropriate procedure.
  • Products Sold and Installed by Trazzo Outside the Miami Metropolitan Area: Due to logistical constraints, the customer must transport the defective product to Trazzo’s facilities for evaluation. The customer may hire a specialized technician to remove and reinstall the product after repair or replacement.

6. Limitations of Liability Trazzo assumes no responsibility for:

  • Damage caused by improper installation performed by third parties.
  • Product deterioration due to adverse environmental conditions.
  • Refunds or compensations exceeding the amount paid by the customer for the defective product.

The application of the warranty implies acceptance of the terms and conditions set forth herein, resolving any potential dispute related to the product.
